This morning I had a COVID scare and took the whole day off to rest.

Now I'm in a limbo state as I'm not sure if I do have COVID or not. (The latest self-administered test says no.) I'm a bit worried about starting the promotion and launch of Tarot Fundamentals Intensive.

So I pulled cards to help with my decision making. I recorded the video above about my card pulls and breaking down the questions and card interpretation. (The video is paced better than this computer generated/ minorly edited blog post. There's captions too!)

In the video, I pulled multiple cards. One of the ways I teach multiple card readings basically is just pulling a question at a time so you get a clearer answer instead of pulling for a large spread at one go.

You don't need a sacred space for your readings

I took the effort to rearrange the cards for the photo above.

Usually, my card pulls are a messy pile on my desk. I am not good at tidying so I don't have space for luxuriously large card pulls.

You don't need to have a special sacred space to do your readings. Because some people would tell you to have a clear space and to clear your mind before reading.

It's good to have those but it's also ok to be messy.

"What do I really want?"

The first question I asked was: "What do I really want?"  Temperance appeared.

And the funny thing is, Temperance appeared in a previous reading about the possibility that I might get COVID. (Side note: I never read health questions for clients. This is my personal card pull.)

With the appearance of Temperance, seems like what I actually want is rest. I don't want the stress of having my energy all over the place.

Then I pulled two cards, asking, "Should I continue with the launch, or should I not continue to launch."

If you're not familiar with marketing lingo. A launch in online marketing is a very concentrated period of time where you market your product. So basically, I'm marketing my Tarot fundamentals intensive, and even this talking to you now is part of the launch because I really want to show you how I use Tarot in my daily life. Versus if you would like to book a tarot reader, they can only solve the problems, you know, in that specific time. But if you've read cards on your own, here's what you can do. And so for like, should I it's count Pentacles. I loved it. And then the worst is like the lovers actually came up with, with no, I shouldn't continue.

And usually when I compare yes or no questions, basically is a major arcanas are more positive. So it's telling me now probably no is a better answer. And then why No, it's also because I need to focus on a partnership. And I kind of know because next week, I actually have a improv show. And I kind of based on this card, what is what's it trying to say is also that instead of focusing on what I can bring to myself, which is the camp and the goals that if I do continue of this launch, now the money can come in, and then I will get feel very secure.

But based on this yes or no? Right? I kind of sense that no might be the better answer for now. Especially, we're not really sure what I get covered or not. And also, I think more importantly, is that I do have a partnership based thing that's happening next week. So it could even be that it would be better for me to just wrap up my improv show things before I actually start really, really focusing on the launch, which I think I'm comfortable with as well. But let's also see, like, what are the cards I pulled?

Does Tarot Run My Life?

Also something I really want to emphasize if you see me like doing all these card pulls to make choices, you might think oh no, why Cubase all her things on cards and then you know, I don't really have control over my life. But I really see in a different way I really see it as the tarot cards being able to show me things that I actually have forgotten about that I actually should be focusing on.

So for example, the the lovers coming out is really telling me that hey, you have this thing going on, that you should focus on instead of really about your Tarot stuff and if you wrap it up, it will be much better and also is reinforcing for the king of pentacles is really enforcing for me that maybe for me, too, I for me, this launch kind of seem to be about like I do want the security of money I do want the feeling of abundance um, and at this point because we're comparing between king of pentacles and lovers at this point, what the universe is trying to tell me or even my subconscious is trying to tell me that perhaps the partnership is really really important. important then what I want to do what then you know which can be a bit selfish then my second question after that was that you know what should I do next and the weird thing is the moon came up so usually the moon means that you know things are super super up in the air we haven't really made any conclusions at all because the truth is not really out there so I do see this as more like you know, I'm not really sure whether I am well or not at this point at this moment I am but we don't know because number one my show is next week number two, the tarot training is mid April in between what's going to happen nobody knows.

Of course you know, I'm super stubborn so I asked you on what might happen if I do want to continue with the launch. Nine of wands came up.

I see it as needing rest and feeling tired. I think it is a true because even now, even without COVID happening to me at this moment, I just feel tired.

I don't know whether it's just because of like the whole situation in the morning and made me a bit anxious that's why I'm tired.

So maybe I do need that rest instead of trying to go full speed into launching things especially since this is like Aries season, I might feel that I need to put in all this work and then maybe not maybe just take a pause the cards are telling me to take a pause and I should take the advice.

Of course I'm like okay, fine, then what should I do next, and The Hanged Man came up. So  The Hanged Man personally for me does represent a person and it is represented by the person in partnership as well.

And another so basically once you do a lot more tarot readings, you would have significant matters for different people. And then when it shows up it kind of reminds you it's them and also the hangman has another layer of meaning saying that you don't just wait you don't have to do things so fast you don't have to like go full speed ahead you can just wait for a while as the moon says wait for a while until everything is clear.

And even though nine of wands is saying that you'll be very tired just wait. And so if the card was The Chariot. Then basically I would take the advice that yeah, you have the energy you have the ability to just go ahead and I would but currently is not put on like fine then you know when is a good time to do it and then.

The Four of Wands came up.

So I do see it as you know after I celebrate something it will be a good time to just be into the Tarot fundamentals intensive launch again. So I kind of think that probably it is like after I wrap up my show and everyone kind of celebrates ever had a good time, then I would be more energized and more focused on lunch. Yeah, so that is all when it comes to doing the readings. So I decided to pause there usually I pull this much cards and I'm kind of like okay, I I think you know I have the answers already and perhaps I wouldn't be going full speed ahead with my Tarot launch but I do still want to share the videos, which I think might be interesting for people to kind of see like how a different tarot reader might be handling the cards how a different tarot reader might be doing things so if you do enjoy this, let me know because then I'll do more as I go along. At least today is because I did take a break from work I have the time to record all these sound bites or these videos. I'm hoping that tomorrow I would have the time to do a different one as well just to for you to see what a tarot reader does with their cards.
